Invest in the Basics

If you find yourself saying.... I HAVE NOTHING TO WEAR way too often. That could be because you've attempted to build a wardrobe without the basics. THIS IS IMPOSSIBLE. I've talked about this at nauseam, you have to invest in the basics if you want a wardrobe that is functional.

Following trends closely will never yield personal style. It will only be a rotating closet of items that will soon become a waste of money. Don't get me wrong, there is absolutely nothing wrong with purchasing pieces that are on trend. However, if you don't invest in the basics, you will always find yourself uttering the same thing each time you get dressed.... I HAVE NOTHING TO WEAR. This will turn the getting dressed process into something that is overwhelming. Fashion is supposed to be fun not stressful. You can't build a house without a solid foundation, you can't have a marriage without a solid foundation, you can't build friendships or a business or anything without a solid foundation and you can't build a wardrobe without one either. Invest in staples, spend money on the basics before trends, It will be more beneficial in the long run.

There are 50 total items every wardrobe needs, Below are 10 of those items.
