Fitness has saved my life!!! When I lost my dad, after being on the couch for a month I turned to spin class. The people, the relationships, the bonds have all contributed to who I am now. Not just the weight loss but the person. I am so grateful for my gym family. We all push each other to greatness. There is no such thing as giving up or not showing up. We do it together. My fitness journey hasn't been easy. I was diagnosed with a heart condition, asthma, bronchitis, and a lung condition. All of which made my doctor tell me that I should no longer attend spin class. Wheeeet no sir I'm not giving that up. So I prayed and a year later I am not only still spinning but I teach spin classes as well. Yesssss don't tell me what God can't do. LOL I am obsessed with working out and if it were not for cookies and shit I could totally have a banging body. UGH
To top it all of my Bike Mafia crew and I won the first annual spin competition here in Atlanta. We crushed the competition. My workouts definitely have gotten me through some hard times. It's an escape from the world for a few hours.
