Happy New Year

Lovelies,
I can't thank you enough for an awesome year of blogging, you guys have made this journey so enjoyable!! I can't wait to bring you dolls more awesome fashion and videos. 2012 was great and 2013 will be even better. I promise you. I decided this year that I wouldn't make new years resolutions instead I would be doing new perspectives on life. Habits take a while to break and I won’t proclaim that I’m breaking them simply because it’s a new year. I would be lying to myself and others. I will however, strive to improve on the things in my life that I want to make better. I will work on bettering my relationships with those who mean the most to me. I will live my life the way I see fit without concern about how others perceive me. I will take everyday as it comes and be grateful for what God has blessed me with; a beautiful life, a wonderful husband, a loving son, an awesome career, and amazing family and friends. I mean what more can a girl ask for???

2012 Fashion Review

I have been battling the flu over the last few days so I haven't really had the energy to blog. I'm actually still feeling miserable so once I'm done, it's back under the covers. I can't believe how fast this year has flown by. While this year has been great and I've accomplished a lot, I am praying for an even better 2013. Here are a few of my favorite looks from 2012. JustFab Holiday Party

Hey dolls,
Last week I had the pleasure of attending the JustFab holiday party hosted by
The Style and Beauty Doctor  The Fashionista Next Door      The Baby Shopaholic.
I had an ah-mah-zing time with my blogger buddies. Honestly what could be more fun than a room full of great ladies and JustFab shoes. Lawd knows I had to reel it on back in to keep myself from purchasing several pairs of shoes. LOL I mean it is the season of giving... Sooo I picked one pair and I can't wait to share them with you lovelies.

My look came together because I was super aggravated with looking for something to wear. I was so over it and I pulled these pieces and said the heck with it. I like the way it came together so I guess the frustration was worth it. Check out pics below.

Marlo Hampton for Denim Magazine

Marlo Hampton is featured in Denim Magazine for their Holiday 2012 issue. Lawd..... say what you will about Marlo but you can never say that she doesn't have style. Marlo is always always always dressed to the Gawds. I adore her style. Shout out to my girl Day Hill celebrity MUA who beat Marlo's face. Overall the looks gave me life. Love them all!!!

 

Birthday Trip Part 3

Hey lovelies,
Here are a few more pics from my trip to San Deigo. This was the first night we were there and I was sick as a dog. IDK what happened but once I sat on the plane the sniffles and sneezing began, I was devastated because I thought my birthday would consist of being in the bed sick. Thanks to my bestie for having some kind of magic pill. The good news is I felt better the very next day but the bad news is I couldn't go out that night so I was left in the hotel to suffer. LOL Before I completely caved to the sickness, I did manage to take a few pics before dinner. I lived for these vintage sequin pants. It is actually a 2 piece but I broke it up and only wore the pants for the evening. Check out a few pics below.

Birthday Trip Part 1

Hey lovelies,
Oh how I've missed you. I had to take a brief hiatis due to finals and my birthday trip. My plan was to blog while I was away but the hotel was charging $15.00 a day. Yep, I wasn't going to pay that. So let's catch up!!! Finals are done and grades are in and I am proud to say that I have all A's and 1 B. Beauty and Brains.... yes that's me. LOL

My 2 best friends and I went to San Diego California for 2 of our birthdays. My bestie Dana turned 30 and I turned..... I won't reveal but over 30. LOL We had a ball, the weather was perfect and the food was amazing. We all know I'm a fattie so the food is an important part of any trip for me. Here are a few pics of my actual birthday day. We did a little bit of shopping, sight seeing and of course eating. Enjoy loves, please be warned this post is very very very picture heavy.We decided to have a mini photo shoot. LOL
