Amy Winehouse Dress Sells for Over 67K at Auction

In the wake of her sudden death, Amy Winehouse's father held an auction and sold the dress she wore on her Back to Black album cover for more than $67,000. The red and white printed chiffon dress, (which is so not cute) designed in 2006 by Thailand-based designer Disaya, was purchased by the Fundacion Museo de la Moda in Chile. The designer agreed to donated the proceeds from the sale to the Amy Winehouse Foundation, which was started by the late singer's family to help troubled teens and young adults. Now, I am all about donating to the cause but Lord knows this dress doesn't look like it is worth $67.00 let alone $67,000.

I typically shy away from the whole matchy matchy thing, but I must say Hedi Klum looked

Ah-Mah-Zing in this Michael Kors fall 2011 three piece suit. The 38 year old former supermodel and Project Runway host wore this suit to her fragrance launch at the Toronto Eaton Centre in Canada yesterday. She kept her accessories simple with no earrings, a small necklace and gold bracelets. Hedi's style is usually hit or miss but I think she pulled this look together nicely.

Stylish or Style Miss??? Christian Louboutin Puck Pony Fur Boot

So, I'm super on the fence about this boot. A part of me hates it and another part of me secretly adores it. I'm all for being unique and cutting edge but this might just be where I draw the line (might being the key word). LOL Just because the bottom of the shoe is red doesn't mean it can't be a hot mess. Christian Louboutin created this furry footwear made from pony fur. He affectionately calls the boot, ‘The Puck’. Celebs are already rocking them, Love & Hip Hop star Chrissy Lampkin also known as the chic who proposed to Jim Jones was spotted wearing a pair. Trina wore a pair while visiting 106 and Park to debut her new video ‘Red Bottoms’. I can't make up my mind... What do you guys think?? Stylish or Style Miss???

Stylish or Style Miss??? Kim Kardashian Wearing Lip Tattoos

Kim K tweeted this pic yesterday of her wearing Violent Lips lip tattoos that she found in her little sisters room. Uuuum I'm sure many will beg to differ but I love it. It's not a trend for everyone but I think Kim is rocking the hell out of this look. On a side note, after watching the first episode of  Kourtney & Kim take NY last night, I can see why she would want to divorce Kris and I can't even understand how she fell in love with him. He is so annoying and immature. Ok, back to the fashion.... I love it but what do you think.... Stylish or Style Miss???

Today has been a pretty long day and it is not close to being over for me. I just left a really nice networking mixer presented by Pretty Girls Rock Dresses; Crave Atlanta. It was held at the very beautiful House of Adrene boutique. Before the mixer I had a meeting to attend so I wanted to look pulled together for the meeting and funky for the mixer. Jack Frost Nipping At My Nose

Brrrrr! It is so cold out today, I'm not sure I was quite ready for Mr. Jack Frost. I had a few errands to run  and I also needed a mani/pedi something serious. I really could not go another day with my nails looking a hot mess. This is what I chose to wear for today's outings. I stole this blazer from my best friend like 2 years ago and today was my first time wearing it. I don't like the cold weather but I was excited that it was finally cold enough for me to break out these new boots!! Stylish or Style Miss??? Singer Shingai Shoniwa in Surgical Mask Dress

Well we most certainly know who is all ready for flu season. Singer Shingai Shoniwa showed up at the

 London premiere of Twilight: Breaking Dawn Part I in this dress made entirely of surgical masks, 2 prom corsages on each lapel and wedding centerpiece in her hair. #Fail Now I will be the first to admit that I had no clue who she was. Upon goggling her I found that she is an English singer of Zimbabweab decent with so much style. OMG, I live for her eclectic/over-the-top style. However................ this dress that was designed by Alpananeeraj (an Indian design duo known for their supremely sculptural aesthetic) is a STYLE MISS. I can however, appreciate the work that was put into this dress to make surgical masks look so figure flattering. This is a project runway make it work moment if I've ever seen one. LOL

More Than $400,000 Worth of Louis Vuitton Stolen

If you can remember last week I reported to you guys that Marc Jacobs Spring 2012 collection, worth $60,000 was stolen en route to Paris. Well chile, it looks like this bad economy is making people do something strange for a little change. This weekend, over $400,000 worth of Louis Vuitton merchandise was stolen from the Charles de Gaulle airport right outside of Paris. Reportedly 5 masked thieves held airport employees hostage while they loaded the items onto a truck. They managed to get away with around 10 pallets of stolen goodies. Look out there will be stolen Louis Vuitton coming to a flea market near you! LOL

Shimmer & Shine Shoe Ball

Good news Lovelies,
I was so excited to share the news with you dolls!! I've received my very first press pass and I will be covering the Shimmer & Shine Shoe Ball. With my sick obsession for shoes, this is like Heaven for me. LOL The Shimmer & Shine Ball is not only for the shoe lovers but it’s for a great cause, it’s to benefit the Accelerated Cure Project for Multiple Sclerosis. Reality star Derek J will be making his debut on the catwalk.

Admission is $50 and formal wear is a MUST! There will be complimentary cocktails, hors d’oeuvres, drawings, silent auctions, dancing, and a best-in-shoe walk off! There will be numerous shoe designers shoe sponsors in attendance. Im super excited!!  Oh what to wear, what to wear??? I am combing my closet as I type... I may have to make an emergency purchase. LOL

So after being stuck in the house since Wednesday with collard greens and dressing coming out my ears, my hubby got a bad case of cabin fever and decided that we should go have drinks with some friends. I was in the middle of working and reluctantly agreed to go. With all the Thanksgiving bloat, I wasn't really in the mood to get all dolled up so I went cute and casual.
